We have designed the website and handled PR & Marketing for independent British film Tea Shop Asylum, a film about love, war, mental health... and cake. Co-written by BAFTA award winner and film director David Skynner (Wuthering Heights, The Giblet Boys) and Rad Lazar (Breaking & Entering, Munich),
the film is now in pre-production and funded uniquely by revolutionary and open-to-all Tea Shop membership.
Featuring a stunning cast, the film is a romantic black comedy, based on the true and remarkable experiences of Yugoslavian actor Rad Lazar, it tells the story of Vlad, an ex-soldier and asylum seeker from the Balkans whose past catches up with him amid a bizarre and chaotic chain of events.
Tea Shop Asylum is a genuine attempt to blaze a trail and rewrite some of the rules of film making in the UK.
